There are many carpool schemes set up throughout the Auckland region using the TravelWise Rideshare service to help people find carpool matches.

Employer Schemes - Several employers have set up formal schemes, such as ASB Bank, Auckland Council,  Auckland Transport, Waitemata DHB, and Counties Manukau DHB.

Community Carpooling - Some schemes are organised through the councils to help deliver community schemes, such as Rodney's Take a Mate scheme.

Area-Wide Schemes - There are area-wide schemes, such as the Auckland Airport's carpool scheme offered through their Lift Travel Plan and the North Harbour Business Association's Carpool Now programme.
